Heart & Hope Project is led by a dedicated group of student officers who give their time, creativity, and care to this mission.
Joshua founded Heart & Hope Project from personal experience with chronic illness and a desire to become a cardiologist. He leads the organization's overall vision and direction, oversees major decisions, manages the relationship with the Hack Club Bank fiscal sponsorship, coordinates with receiving partners, and leads communications with Build-A-Bear and major organizational partnerships.
Rylan co-founded Heart & Hope Project alongside Joshua and helps lead the organization across major projects and day-to-day priorities. He supports planning, funding strategy, community outreach, and execution as Heart & Hope expands its comfort-kit inventory and receiving-partner work.
Kaylee leads all marketing and communications for Heart & Hope Project, including marketing strategy, social media, graphics, website messaging, campaign promotion, videos, and public communication.
Kameron manages everything related to our volunteer community — from recruitment and onboarding to communication, assignments, participation tracking, and service-hour verification.
Lauren coordinates Heart & Hope Project's fundraisers, community events, and supply-collection opportunities. She manages event logistics, venue coordination, participation requirements, and in-person community engagement.
Yumii oversees the operation of Heart & Hope's established programs, including the comfort-kit process, encouragement cards, Sponsor a Bear program operations, supply-drive operations, and the upcoming comfort-kit packing process.
Kashnie develops and maintains relationships with hospitals, schools, businesses, nonprofits, community organizations, sponsors, and other potential long-term partners for Heart & Hope Project.
Anvika leads and supports video production for Heart & Hope Project, including filming, short-form campaign content, editing concepts, and visual storytelling. She works closely with Marketing & Communications to turn campaigns and program updates into clear, engaging media.
