"A little sweet for a brave heart"
Heart & Hope Project was founded by a high school student in West Palm Beach, Florida, driven by his own journey with chronic illness and a deep desire to become a cardiologist. Knowing what it feels like to face uncertainty in a hospital room, he created something tangible: comfort kits and heart health education for children who need it most.
Handcrafted kits delivered to children in cardiac ICUs and hospitals dealing with long-term or unexplained illness.
Age-appropriate heart health education outreach at elementary schools, empowering kids to understand and care for their hearts.
Every item is chosen with intention — to comfort, distract, delight, and remind a child that they are seen, loved, and brave.
A custom Heart & Hope bag to hold everything — theirs to keep and treasure.
A soft companion for long nights and scary procedures.
Bright, playful socks to add a little joy to hospital days.
Because hospital air is dry, and small comforts matter enormously.
Creative expression and calm focus during long wait times.
A pop-it or stress ball for anxious hands that need something to do.
Designed by the founder — age-appropriate and thoughtfully illustrated.
Affirmations written for children facing hard things with courage.
Information and support resources for caregivers navigating their child's illness.
Candy with a handmade tag: "a little sweet for a brave heart."
Our signature touch.
A personal note from the founder — because every child deserves to feel known.
Every item donated goes directly into a kit for a child in a cardiac ICU. No donation is too small — one pack of socks can brighten a long hospital stay.

Whether you love assembling kits, speaking to kids, or spreading the word — there's a place for you in the Heart & Hope family.
Help pack and assemble comfort kits at in-person events in the West Palm Beach area. A hands-on way to make a direct impact for children in the hospital.
Help spread the word, run donation drives, and grow our community. Every share matters — and every dollar reaches a child.
No matter where you live, you can volunteer! Create a heartfelt handwritten and decorated card for a child in the hospital. Mail it in and it will be personally signed by the founder before going into a kit. Anyone, anywhere can participate.
We'll reach out with opportunities that fit your location. Can't make it to West Palm Beach? You can still volunteer by making a card from home!
Thank you for wanting to be part of this mission.
We'll be in touch soon with opportunities near you.
